Damage Deposits:

There are 2 options for your damage deposit:

1) $600 - single family homes/$500 - condos...these are fully refundable as long as there is no damage to the property and you follow the simple check-out guidelines (provided at Check-in and described below), PLUS $275 pet deposit for each dog you bring, if you are staying in a Pet Friendly home; OR

2) A $140 combination deposit consisting of $40...non-refundable, which purchases a damage insurance policy and $100...refundable as long as you follow the simple check-out guidelines. The refundable portion of your deposit will be credited back to the credit card on file within 7 days of your departure based on the above conditions. Renters bringing their dog are encouraged to use Option 2, as there is no additional deposit required provided that your dog is ‘registered’ with FSR prior to arrival.

The simple Check-out Guidelines include the following:

Wash & put away dishes, remove sheets from beds and place sheets and towels by front door (make sure wet towels are not placed on directly on wood or carpeted floors), replace mattress pads and comforters/pillows on beds, place all trash in plastic bags and put in receptacle(s) provided (if your trash can not fit in the receptacles, please take it to the dumpsters on Rt. 263 on your way home), turn thermostat to the temperature noted in the unit handbook, close all doors, windows, and lock house when leaving. With the exception of cleaning the unit, please make sure everything is returned to its original place. Linens will be counted and inspected before thay are removed from the unit; you will be charged for damaged or missing items.
